Ugandan winger set to join new club in Serbia

Ugandan pacey winger Pius Obuya is set to join a new club in the Serbia.

Obuya is set to join FK. Radniciki Sremska Mitrovica on an initial 18-month employment contract with an option to extend for a further year.

The 24-year old spent last season at FK Kabel Novi Sad where he featured in 19 games and scored only one goal, which was against Radniciki in October 2021.

Radniciki finished seventh on the Serbian Prva Liga last season with 48 points garnered in 37 games. They were founded in 1922 and are coached by Dejan Nikoliç.

Obuya is expected to make his debut on 6th August when Radnicik Sremska open their 2022/23 league campaign against Radniciki NB at the Stadion FK Radnički Beograd.
