Police FC chief executive officer (CEO) Fahad Lumu has acknowledged the importance of skipper Joseph Sentume for the 2005 Uganda Premier league champions.
The Centerback extended his stay with the Cops on Tuesday evening at the club offices in Kibuli and put pen to paper to a three-year deal.
According to Lumu, Sentume is a very instrumental player to Police FC will help the club achieve its main goal.
“He is a very instrumental player in the team. He has extreme experience and we believe he will put all efforts together to achieve our main goal.”
Sentume also promised fans that he will work tirelessly to ensure the team performs well in the coming season.
He joins Yusuf Ssozi, Johnson Odong, Mubarak Nsubuga, Edward Kiryowa, and Musa Matovu andDenis Rukundo who have so far renewed their contracts at the club.
- Last season, Sentume featured in 18 league games and helped Police FC to three cleansheets as the team narrowly survived relegation from the StarTimes UPL.
