Less than a day after terminating his contract with Sehul Shire FC, Ugandan midfielder Yasser Mugerwa has already signed for Sidama Buna FC, another team in the Ethiopian Premier league.

Mugerwa has signed a one-year deal with the Ethiopian Premier league outfits who finished 4th last season on 26 points after the league was prematurely cancelled by the Ethiopian Football Association with no winner, no promotion or relegation.

Yasser Mugerwa started off his career at Super Cubs before joining Nkumba University for the University football League and later the FUFA Big league.

He later joined SC Victoria University from where he moved to URA FC before moving to South Africa’s Orlando Pirates in 2015 .

After one year at the Southern Club, Mugerwa moved on to Ethiopia where he has played for three clubs over the 4 years he’s been there ( St.George, Fasil Kenema and Sehul Shire FC).

He was earlier rumored to be joining Mike Mutebi’s KCCA FC but that the two parties failed to agree on personal terms.

He is capped 7 times for the Ugandan national team, The Uganda Cranes ever since he made his debut in 2014.
