Former Uganda U20 captain Yusufu Mukisa has completed a move to Kenyan Premier League side Nairobi City Stars.

On Wednesday evening, the former Vipers and Proline defender put pen to paper on a 2-year contract with the KPL new entrants.

This development was confirmed to this website by the player’s intermediary David Kwalima.

“Mukisa has completed his move to Kenyan Premier League new entrants Nairobi City Stars having secured his release papers from his former employees Proline Soccer Academy,” David Kwalima said before adding that,

“He signs a two-year employment contract and he is ready to feature for the club at the start of next season.”

Yusuf Mukisa has also featured for SC Villa, BUL FC and Vipers, where he won the 2015/16 league titles.

Last season while still contracted with Proline, Mukisa went to Kenya and had trials with Tusker FC but the deal fell through.

He then got the chance to train with Jonathan Jackson’s Nairobi City Stars before the league was called off.

“I want to thank my former club, Proline Soccer Academy, my management who have worked tirelessly to see that I secure this deal.” Yusufu Mukisa noted after completing the move.

Mukisa becomes the club’s third signing after Eric Ebidja and Sven who were snapped up earlier on.
