KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi has expressed intent to win this season’s Uganda Cup title as his side visits FUFA Big League side Dove FC in the round of 16 tie at the Katushabe grounds in Masindi on Thursday 12th March.

We take every competition seriously and our aim is to win the Uganda Cup for a record 11th time.

He said.

Mutebi, a former Cranes coach lashed out at the FUFA and National team technical committee for refusing to let the players in the CHAN camp to take part in the Uganda Cup.

I am disappointed by FUFA and the Cranes technical team led by coach Mckinstry for not allowing our players to come and join us. This will work as an excuse for the clubs that won’t progress to the next round and yet they have players on the national team.

Mutebi said.

KCCA FC welcomes back midfielder Gift Ali and Musa Ramathan in the traveling squad to Masindi. The duo missed the game against Proline in the league due to suspension, however, they will miss the services of skipper Charles Lukwago, Julius Poloto, Mustafa Kiiza, Kato Samuel and Herbert Achai who are currently with the national team.
