Big league: Doves All Stars’ coach suspended


Doves All Stars FC head coach Haruna Mawa has been handed a one-game touchline suspension by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel.

Mawa was found guilty of using offensive language towards the referees after his team’s Startimes FUFA Big league loss away to Kataka FC on 1st March 2020.

The use of that word was found to be against Article 30(2) of the FUFA Competitions Rules which states that;

A Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour.


Haruna Mawa has been Suspended for one game and will not be on his team’s touchline when his side Doves All Stars FC hosts Elgon group leaders MYDA FC at the Greenlight Stadium, Arua next week
