Brian Majwega returns to former club KCCA FC from URA FC

Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC have confirmed the departure of winger Brian Majwega.

The club confirmed the former Maroons left-back’s departure on Monday afternoon via their Social media platforms, stating; “Thank you for the 2 solid years, Majwega Brian with the tax collectors. All the best in your next journey.”

Brian Majwega has been at URA since 2019 when he joined the club from Maroons on a two year employment contract which expired at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Majwega has been a key member of the URA team since he joined them and last season, he was mostly deployed as left back as they finished second in the Uganda Premier League.

Majwega will be returning to his former club, KCCA FC where he was confirmed as a new signing as URA FC also took on the signing of SC Villa’s youngster Derrick Ndahiro.

Majwega played for KCCA FC before leaving the country to join Tanzanian side Azam FC, from where he moved to another Tanzanian side Simba SC. He returned to Uganda and featured for Maroons in 2018 under the stewardship of George Best Nsimbe and David Obua before joining The Tax collectors.
