Uganda U20 national team also known as Hippos provisional squad has been released ahead of the AFCON U20 zonal qualifiers 2024 due to take place next month.
A squad of forty five players comprises of six goalkeepers, ten defenders, sixteen midfielders and thirteen forwards who will enter a camp for the tournament which will take place from 6th-20th October in Tanzania.

The Hippos were pitted in group B alongside Burundi, South Sudan and Ethiopia where the finalists will represent the CECAFA region in the AFCON U20 next year.
The team will enter the camp on Monday 16th September, 2024 as they look forward to defend the tournament they won two years ago having defeated South Sudan 2-1 in the finals.
