Transfers: Teddy Najjuma joins Kampala Queens


Midfielder Teddy Najjuma joins Kampala Queens from UCU Lady Cardinals on a undisclosed fee.

Najjuma is the second arrival in the Palace after Left back Sumaya Komuntale who joined the team from relagated side Tooro Queens.

After signing for this Hamuza Lutalo side the Midfielder came out to express her joy saying;

Am glad and happy to join a winning team and I will give in the best to see that we attain the FWSL trophy this season

Towards the end of last season, Shakira Mutiibwa was added to the Kampala Queens squad from Asubo Gafford Ladies and she made a difference in the middle of the park pushing captain Zaina Namuleme to the bench.

With more names in the Midfield like Matama, Shakira Mutiibwa, Shamirah Nalugya, Lilian Mutuuzo among others Lutalo is set to have headache choosing the squad next season.

This time round the team will be hoping to raise the competition levels past those of last season with a beefy squad starting from the back line to the forward line.

The Queens will look forward adding more quality to their squad as they return to their Pre-season training on 1st August.

On the other side, UCU have now lost their fourth player this transfer period in Najjuma the first ones being Phoebe Banura, Cissy Nakate and Jackline Nakasi who all left to join last seasons’ Champions, She Corporate.
