Former Vipers goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya has joined Wakiso Giants on a two year contract.
Ssekagya has been featuring for Kenya Premier League side Wazito FC.
Before he left for Kenyan side Wazito FC, Sekagya had played for Vipers SC, UPDF FC and Proline FC in the Ugandan League at senior level after he had featured for KCCA FC youth side in 2017.
He joins Wakiso Giants who just brought in a new head coach in John Luyinda alias Ayala who is well experienced with the young players gagging from his stay at Police Football Club as an assistant coach managing players like Eric Ssenjobe.
Sekagya is presumed to get into the team to replace Derrick Emukule who was put out of the team with claim of match fixing alongside Fahad Kawooya and Edward Satulo.
With a young talented team of players, Sekagya will enjoy playing at Wakiso Giants and will also add depth to the team with Samson Kirya still at the club as first choice goalkeeper.
Speaking to the team media, an excited Bashir Sekagya came out to say:
