Police FC: club extends Nsubuga’s stay, promotes Kabuye


Police FC has extended Mubaraka Nsubuga’s contract and also awarded 18-year-old Bashir Kabuye his first professional contract as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of 2020/21 StarTimes UPL season.

Nsubuga who joined the Cops from Express FC at the start of the 2019/20 season extended his stay at the club for two more years and while Bashir Kabuye joins the senior squad after being promoted from the Armless Brigades for the same period.

Kabuye who had some minutes on the first team last season says he is grateful he will be continuing to play for a club that he feels suits his style.

“I feel good to be part of the club because it suits my style of play. I expect to give it my best for both the fans and the club,” Said Kabuye during his unveiling.

Mubaraka Nsubuga who played for Express FC, Wembley FC, and All winners FC has promised to improve on his output at the club for the period he gets to stay.

“I feel great for the opportunity given and I feel like I am home and ready to serve the team. I will give it my best. Expect an improved performance from me this season as we target to win trophies for the club.”

Bashir Kabuye and Mubaraka Nsubuga have been added to the list of signed players by Police FC so far and those that have renewed their contracts.

Police FC has so far signed the services of experienced midfielder Tony Mawejje, Hassan Muhammad, Eric Ssenjobe, and goalkeeper Tom while four have renewed including Musa Matovu, Johnson Odong, Dennis Rukundo, and Yusuf Ssozi.
