Nabirye returns home, joins Kampala Queens

Crested Cranes midfielder Joan Nabirye has joined Kampala Queens from Kenyan side Vihiga Queens.

Nabirye, 22-year old has left the Kenyan club aftet four-years since she joined from Uganda’s Asubo Gafford in February 2020.

The former Mutesa II University player who had different trial stints in Europe has had different scouts’ attention but decided to settle at the Kabojja side.

She becomes Kampala Queens first mid season signing with an intention of strengthening their midfield with more quality, experience and winning mentality.

The midfielder won the 2022 Cecafa Women Championships at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru and also helped her Vihiga Queens win their fourth Premier League title.

Kampala Queens sit top of the FUFA Women Super League with maximum points out of the 11 League games played this season.
