Musa Matovu: Youngster extends stay at Police FC


Musa Matovu has extended his stay at Police FC for atleast the next two seasons.

The 20- year old signed a two-year contract with the Cops at the club’s offices in Kibuli on Saturday to continue his marriage with the Abdullah Mubiru’s coached side.

Last season, Musa who had more time on the bench found the back of the net only once in the StarTimes UPL and that was in Police’s 4-0 win over Tooro United at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

Musa becames the 4th player to renew his contract after Midfielders, Yusuf Ssozi and Johnson Odong and defender Denis Rukundo extended their time at the Club.

Police has also signed Eric Ssenjobe, Tony Mawejje and Hassan Muhammad ahead of the 2020-21 StarTimes UPL season.

Last season, the Cops narrowly survived relegation as they ended campaign with 25 points from as many games at a time when the league was halted due to COVID19 pandemic.
