Place-It: we are backing Chelsea at Wembley, Juve to falter again

place-it - the Touchline Sports

Arsenal have endured a tough campaign after finishing eighth in the Premier League, their worst season in 25-years, and are could miss out on European football next season.

Their only alternative remains winning the FA Cup against Chelsea this Saturday at Wembley for a chance to feature in next season’s Europa League.

While the Gunners have a lot riding on this game, there is no such pressure on Frank Lampard’s Blues who have already secured a place in the Champions League next season after finishing fourth in the League. However, they are not yet done and will be looking to finish the season with some silverware.

What is at stake?

Anything can happen in a final especially when two of ‘big clubs’ are competing. However, there are usually fewer goals than league games during such moments.

Both teams have defended poorly this season though and we think 2.5 match goals with Arsenal scoring first is good value for your bet.

Arsenal put-in a superb performance to stun Manchester City 2-0 in the semi-finals and should be confident heading to Wembley. They have won the FA Cup more times than any other club, we shouldn’t forget.

However, we still think Chelsea will prove too strong for Arsenal.

We back the Blues to edge out Arsenal 2-1 to lift the cup.

There is also action in the Italian Serie A as the league comes to an end while in Scotland the season is just starting today.

We expect Juventus to falter once again as Inter and Milan end the season better than they started.

Here is a summary of our predictions for the different games.
