Masaza Cup: Oweekitibwa Sserwanga announces dates, venue for final

The Minister for Youth, Sports and Arts in Buganda Oweekitibwa Robert Sserwanga has announced the dates and Venue for the 2023 Masaza cup final.

Buddu and Mawokota (third place playoff) plus Gomba and Bulemeezi in the final will be the four sides to lock horns respectively on Saturday 28th October at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Above all the King of Buganda Kingdom Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi expected to grace the final with confirmation yet to come from his office.

All the communication on the day was put out to the Media and Public by the Minister who added;

”I want to take this opportunity to congratulate both Bulemeezi and Gomba for successfully reaching the finals of the Masaza Cup.”

“I also thank all the other participating teams in the 2023 Masaza Cup tournament for putting up a great performance throughout the tournament.” 

About the entrance fees and opening time, the Owekitibwa concluded saying; 

“The gates at Wankulukuku will open up as early as 8 am for an easy access to all the fans who will be in line to catch the first game of the day which will be the third place place playoff match which will start at 11:00 am and the final will start at 3pm.”

The tickets for the 2023 Masaza Cup finals will be sold at 20,000 UGX for the ordinary tickets and 50,000 UGX for the VIP section.
