George Ssenkaaba: striker re-unites with Bbosa


Just a few hours after helping Kitara FC take the final StarTimes Uganda Premier League slot, striker George Ssenkaaba has joined Express Football Club – re-uniting with the coach who made him a trusted starter during his Sports Club Villa career.

Ssenkaaba on Friday afternoon was unveiled as a Red Eagle, putting pen to paper on a two-year employment contract with the Wakulukuku based side.

Ssenkaaba, scorer of 5 goals in 10 games as Kitara went on to win the play-off final on Wednesday against Kiboga Young expressed happiness to be joining the Red Eagles.

“I must say I’m delighted to join the red eagles, like all other players this is a dream come true and I can’t wait to get started” He told the Express website.

George Ssenkaaba becomes Wasswa Bossa’s 17th signing ahead of the new season.

The former Saints and Kirinya Jinja SS striker will be a useful addition to the attack that has club’s last season’s topscorer Frank Kalanda, Mustafa Kiragga and Eric Kambaale.
