Brian Nkuubi: former Vipers midfielder completes URA move

Former Vipers SC midfielder Brian Nkuubi has completed his move to the four-time StarTimes UPL champions Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club.

The 26-year old joins the tax collectors on a three-year employment deal and becomes the club’s fifth signing ahead of the upcoming 2020/21 SUPL season.

“I’ve seen a lot of good players at URA FC and I expect competition for positions. I have enough experience and I feel I can add a lot to the club in the coming season.” Brian Nkuubi told the club website before adding.

“I want to continue playing at a high level and compete with the best on the title and the club seems on the right path to provide that.

“This will give me more exposure as a player. The fans should expect hard work from me.” He concluded.

Nkuubi was released by Vipers in August after five years at the club as he found himself on the fringes of the first team.

He had helped the Kitende based club win two league titles in 2018 and 2020 as well as the 2016 Uganda Cup.
