FUFA Big league: Kataka condemn Gadaffi to second consecutive loss, Proline and Black Power pick up comprehensive wins

The StarTimes FUFA Big League matchday three fixtures resumed on Thursday at 5 playgrounds across the Pearl of Africa.

Starting off in the Elgon Group, Kataka FC picked up a vital 1-0 victory over Moneybags Gaddafi FC at the Mbale Municipal ground.

Emmanuel Mukisa’s early first-half goal was enough to condemn the Jinja based side to their second consecutive League loss in less than 5 days after losing 2-0 to Maroons on Sunday.

Kataka meanwhile, garnered their first league win after losing their opening two to Calvary and Arua hill, both away from home in Arua.

Black Power needed two late goals to defeat Paidha Black Angels 2-0 at the Emokorin grounds. Mike Siwe netted a penalty in the 86th minute of the game before Gilbert Iboot sealed a second win for Black Power.

In Luzira, Arua Hill and Maroons FC played out to a goalless draw at the Luzira Prison Playgrounds. Both Arua Hill and Maroons FC remain unbeaten in their first three game, having won their first two games.

In the Rwenzori Group, Proline FC registered a comprehensive 3-1 win over Terrazo and Tiles FC at the Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara. Ivan Ocholit broke the deadlock in 68th minute before Hamis Kizza Diego and Noordin Bunjo added the second and third respectively, later on in the game. Emmanuel Balyejusa got Tile’s consolation from the spot in the 88th minute.

Proline FC have now returned to winning ways after losing their second game to Tooro United on Sunday, while Tiles and Terrazo have suffered their first loss of the season after drawing their first two games to Luwero United and Ndejje University.

In the other Rwenzori Group game, Kigezi Home Boys and Ndejje University played out to a 1-all at Kabale Municipal Stadium. Baluku Robert Santos gave the Gorillas the game’s lead, but his goal was levelled in the 88th minutes by Brian Ssali.
