That was the message from Tunisian giants Club Sportif Sfaxien as they unveiled Ugandan midfielder Hakim Mutebi on Wednesday after completing his transfer on a three-year contract.
After training with the Club for a couple of weeks, Mutebi joins the Tunisian side from Bosnian club BSK Borac Banja, where he featured last season, becoming the latest Ugandan to continue his career in North African football.
The 21 year old was introduced alongside fellow new signings Moumen Al-Rahmani from ES Zarzis and Ghaith Shgaier from Club Africain as Sfaxien reinforced their squad ahead of the new season.
The move also brings a familiar reunion for Mutebi, who will once again share a dressing room with fellow Ugandan Travis Mutyaba. The pair previously played together at SC Villa before representing Uganda in the junior national teams.
Mutebi now begins a new chapter at one of Tunisia’s biggest clubs, where he will be looking to establish himself and help Club Sportif Sfaxien challenge for honours in the coming seasons.
