Simba Queens advance to semi-final stage after silencing Ugandan side She Corporate 2-0 in a top of the table clash at Azam complex in the first game of the day on a Wednesday afternoon.
Simba Queens goals were divided to the two halves with Aquino Corazone scoring in the opening and Congolese Falonne Pambani Kuzoya in the other.
The Sharks tried so hard to put up a fight but at the end of the day failed to utilise their chances as Joanitah Ainembabazi missed a glorious chance to level up the game with MVP Phiona Nabbumba also hitting the crossbar.
Simba Queens now top the group with 6 points and eight goals and qualify for the semi-finals with the Sharks occupying the second place level on points with Yei Joint Stars who put six(6) past Garde Republican in the other group B game.
Yei Joint Stars goals were scored Miriam Luiz who put up a brace then Luka Deborah Stephen Alworonga scoring a haul(four goals).
With one group stage game left, The Sharks will look to defeat Garde Republicane inorder to progress to the semi-final stage.
