Ugandan officials appointed for CAF Champions league, Confederation Cup duties


Seven Ugandan have been appointed by CAF to handle both the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF champions league games

FIFA referee William Oloya will be in charge of the CAF Confederation Cup match between Gor Mahia and Zambia’s Napsa Stars FC at the Nyayo national stadium, Nairobi and will be assisted by other FIFA referees Okello Lee and Isa Masembe as his first and second assistants respectively.

While Ali Sabila Chelenget will be the fourth official in that same match.

In the Al Merreikh and AS Vita CAF champions league match at the Omdurman Al Hilal Stadium, FUFA Development Director Ali Mwebe has been appointed General Coordinator while FUFA Deputy CEO Humphrey Mandu will be charge of security.

Furthermore in the Al Hilal Omdurman match against TP Mazembe,  another Ugandan Awuye Yusuf Suleiman has been appointed as the Match commissioner at the Al Hilal Omdurman Stadium.
