Uganda Corporate League: 2024 edition launched, Nile Special to recognize MVPs with Cars

The 22nd edition of the Uganda Corporate League is set to kickoff at  Makerere University Kampala Sports Grounds on Sunday 24th March.

In this year’s edition, the most valuable players in both the men’s and women’s categories will have to take home two brand new cars.

With all the excitement around this edition there will only be Football one day one but other sports disciplines will follow in the upcoming months as the companies prepare for the marathon in July.

Dennis Mbidde Ssebuggwawo, the Corporate League Board Chairperson says this games will help companies showcase their brands;

“We’ve crafted an experience that addresses various aspects of team building while encouraging companies to showcase their brands in a manner that benefits both them and the Corporate League,”

“The league’s commitment is to provide valuable experiences for employees and annonce plans to provide progress of participating companies”

Concluding that, “a new dimension to the league, will see us maintain the Kids section as introduced in the 2023 edition”

I’m addition to that the kids section will be relaunched in May under the theme “As I Pay, You Play,” inviting parents in the Corporate League to involve their children in the festivities.

With a long lasting partnership held over the years between Nile Breweries and the Corporate League brought together the two parties in Board Chairperson Mbidde and Mr. Adu Rando, Managing Director of Nile Breweries;

Rando came out to reveal that the Most Valuable Players in both Men and Women will each receive a car for their outstanding efforts.

“The Cars will be given to one who will engage in a couple of sports to collect more points”

“The addition of cars to the awards underscores Nile Breweries’ commitment to elevating the Corporate League brand as a premier corporate sports platform in the country,” he concluded
