Netball reminded Corporate companies of old times at the seventh outing of the Uganda Corporate League at the Mubs Grounds on Sunday.
This was the first edition where revealers had a glance at the games and witnessed the opening game as DTB bank Uganda took on Stanbic Uganda.
Nakamyuka Percy, a revealer at the event was very happy when she saw ladies playing Netball with men;
“Personally I am not involved in any company here but I came with my sister who works and plays with Stanbic Bank” she said
“I have loved the jumps men do while knocking off the women but this is a good experience despite the rain we came in” she added
“Soon enough i hope to register my Company African Beats in the competition so my employees can work out too” she concluded
The other sports disciplines at the 7th edition were the usual ones like Tug of war, Basketball .
Tug Of War.
Basketball.
Football.
However in Football, I&M got on top of the day as they won two and drew as many of their four games played in a well .
After the games, the different people from different companies came together to have fun and enjoy themselves as they prepare for the fresh week ahead.
The Uganda Corporate League is played every last Sunday of the month and will therefore be back on the 24th September 2023.
