The 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League roared back to action on Thursday with a series of thrilling Matchday 15 encounters , but none shone brighter than FC Luzira’s dominant performance, marking their triumphant return to form.

Facing off against the struggling Kawempe FC, Luzira delivered a masterclass in attacking prowess, securing a commanding 12-3 victory.

Arafat Ssentogo led the charge with an astounding six-goal haul, while Joshua Aziku’s hat-trick added to the spectacle. Contributions from Edmund Bithum (2) and Samuel Omara further bolstered Luzira’s impressive tally, sealing a resounding win that reaffirmed their status as serious contenders in the league.

With this emphatic display, Luzira catapulted above Kisenyi in the standings, narrowing the gap to league leaders Park FC to just five points. Park prepares for a crucial showdown against Lubaga Grameen on Friday evening.

Kisenyi were leapfrogged by Luzira after they squandered a two-goals lead to draw 4-4 with Kabowa Dream Team in one of the other games played on Thursday.
