The 2023 University football league group stage climaxed over the weekend with three games on Sunday.
Victoria University was ejected a high after a 1-0 away win against YMCA for their only win of the campaign.
In the other two games, Busitema were 1-0 home winners against former champions Uganda Christian Uganda while Kampala International University lost 2-0 away at Kumi to wipe away any northern University from the competition.
This means that eight sides have qualified for the Quarter final stage; MUBS, UCU, Bugema, Kampala University, St Lawrence, Nkumba, Uganda Martyrs and Makerere university.
