Startimes UPL: Mpande hands Busoga fifth loss of the season

Reagan Mpande helped Arua Hill clinch maximum points away from home against Busoga United in the Startimes Uganda Premier league game played at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Arua Hill edged the game 1-0  thanks to a first half goal after Sanon Mulabi spilled a shot from Richard Matovu for Mpande to volley in a rebound to hand the Arua side all the points

This was the first time Busoga hosted a game in Njeru this season but unfortunately failed to replicate the same performance they exhibited against Wakiso Giants.

Both Ibrahim Kayiwa and Dickson Niwamanya came close to level matters but Arua Hill goalkeeper Rogers Omeddwa was up for the occasion.

This result meant that Arua Hill have moved up the league table to sixth place in place of Gaddafi with 19 points while Busoga sink second from the bottom.

Busoga United will play KCCA next in Lugogo on 16th December, for Arua Hill they will be back home to host Bright Stars at Barifa stadium, Arua.
