StarTimes FBL: Blacks Power, Maroons secure first victories

Both Blacks Power FC and Maroons FC secured their first victories of the 2021/22 StarTimes FUFA Big League season.

This is after Blacks Power easily defeated MYDA in Lira while Maroons secured a hard-fought victory away at Proline.

Having lost their first game to Kitara, Blacks Power took care of MYDA FC 3-0 at the AkiBua Memorial Stadium in Lira.

Michael Siwu opened the scoring for Blacks Power before James Okiror and Daniel Otim added to secured their side a comfortable victory.

At the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, Fred Amaku netted the winner as Maroons FC secured a vital 1-0 victory over Proline FC.

Amaku’s strike came midway in the opening half to snatch all three for the Prison side.

In another FUFA Big League game played at the Nakisunga Stadium in Mukono, nothing could separate Kyetume FC and Kitara FC as the two played out to a 1-1 stalemate.

Ezra Bida broke the deadlock for the Slaughterers while Mwesigwa Johnson Stuart leveled for Kitara.

in Mbale, coachless side, Nyamityobora held Kataka FC to also a 1-1 stalemate at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Clinton Kamugisha put Nyamityobora ahead in the 74th minute before moments later, Hassan Wadenga levelled matters for the hosts, Kataka.
