New Express FC midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba says he had many options on the table but joining the Red Eagles fitted his bill to satisfaction.

The 27-year old was confirmed as a Red Eagle on Wednesday evening after completing his move to the Wakulukuku based side as a free agent having ran down his contract with KCCA at the end of the last season.

“First of all I’d like to thank the management of the club (Express FC) for making this happen” Muzamir Mutyaba told the Express website before adding;

“Yes I had many options on the table but none fitted the bill to my satisfaction, I join a club that has alot of ambition, good organization and great players therefore I couldn’t have made a better decision” Mutyaba added

Mutyaba is expected to bolster Bbosa’s creative department and is expected to be teamed up with the likes of Abel Eturude, Daniel Shabene and Ibrahim Kayiwa.

Mutyaba was a key figure at KCCA FC in all the success the club enjoyed since his arrival in 2015 from SC Victoria University three StarTimes Uganda Premier League titles, two Uganda Cup titles, the Pilsner Super 8 and FUFA Super Cup among others.

Express FC is one of the five teams that have not tasted defeat in the games played so far and currently sit sixth with eight points from the four games they have played so far.
