Mbarara City: Ankole lions snap up Ramathan Kareem

Mbarara City FC has finally signed defender Ramathan Kareem from FUFA Big League side New Villa FC.

The rock-solid defender joins the Ankole lions on a four-year contract and becomes their 4th signing after Ronald Edwork (Midfielder), Kalungi Godfrey (winger), and Samali Farouk who joined the club last week.

Kareem is expected to battle out with Bamba Soulyamane and Ibrahim Mugandaazi for who to partner with Captain Hilliary Mukundane in Center back.

Brian Ssenyondo is in the process of rebuilding their squad after losing some key players during the mid-term and ongoing window.

They lost Paul Mucureezi and winger Ibrahim Orit to Vipers SC while their all-time top scorer Brain Aheebwa is also rumored to be on the move.
