Rogers Mato Kassim has joined Turkish second tier side Şanlıurfa Spor Kulübü from KCCA Football Club.
Şanlıurfa Spor Kulübü is a Turkish club that has just been promoted to the Turkish First league via playoff from the second League.
Mato 19, was unveiled on Friday after a couple impressive training sessions at the club.
The youngster is remembered for scoring the late winner that silenced Tanzania in their own yard as Uganda Cranes beat Tanzania in Group F of the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers.
Mato who has played for two seasons at KCCA FC (since 2021) has had stints at some other different clubs like Lweza FC Junior Team, Maroons FC Junior Team and Proline FC Junior Team, all at Junior level.
