Kyeyune left out as Byekwaso names final CECAFA U23 squad

Unattached midfielder Saidi Kyeyune has been dropped from the final CECAFA U23 squad by Uganda Kobs coach Morley Byekwaso.

Byekwaso named his final squad for the CECAFA tournament on Wednesday morning.

The squad consists of players that featured in a training camp in Saudi Arabia   plus Gavin Kizito.

Kizito  missed the training camp in Saudi Arabia due to unforeseen circumstances.

Charles Lukwago and Steven Mukwala are the only overage players that will feature at the tournament for the Kobs.

The team, that will be captained by Express defender Enock Walusimbi will fly to Ethiopia today abroad the Ethiopian Airlines.

Uganda is pitted in group A alongside Tanzania and DR Congo.
