Uganda Premier League side Kyetume Football club has intensified the quest for Synergy captain Henry Orom Bithum, The Touchline Sports can confirm.
The Slaughterers have expressed interest in the hardworking defender, who can play both on the right and Center back positions.
The defender joined Synergy FC at the start of the 2018/19 season and was named the Buganda Regional club’s captain last season due to his leadership and work ethic.
Kyetume’s head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi is aware of Orom’s attributes having worked with the 23-year old at Buddu during the 2019 Masaza Cup tournament.
If the deal does materialize, Orom will join other recruits at the club after Emmanuel Derrick, Felix Okot, Steven Kabuye, Ezra Bidda, Rashid Muhammad, Richard Matovu, Mustafa Mujjuzi among others joined Mukono based club in the recent weeks.
Last season, Kyetume FC garnered 30 points in 25 league games to guarantee their survival in the StarTimes UPL.
