FUFA Big League: Kyetume to face Kitara in Hoima

Mukono based side Kyetume FC will look to inflict more pain on Hoima’s Kitara FC in the FUFA Big League at Kigaaya playgrounds on Thursday

Kitara FC lay second on the league table with 20 points in ten games while Kyetume FC sit nine positions away in 11th with eleven points.

Kyetume started the season late after a couple of issues with the federation but have however copped up on the games played.

However their form last season has not surfaced in the ongoing campaign so far winning three, drawing two and losing the five.

With the first round soon coming to an end, they will look to make a statement away over the current big Boys of Kitara.

The Mukono side, won their last game at home 2-1 against Jinja North United and will hope they can maintain their results.

On the other side, the hoima based side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Mbarara City in their previous game last week on Thursday.

The loss also subjected them their second loss of the season and also saw them drop to the second position. Kitara will have all eyes on maximum points to bounce back.

Head coach Mark Twinamatsiko hopes his side can play better and utilize all the chances against Kyetume;

“We fought hard in our previous match but it was not enough to get us the results we wanted. It was frustrating though we hope to play better, utilize our chances and make our fans happy on Thursday,”  he said.
