Uganda’s CAF Confederation Cup representatives Kitara FC named a traveling squad of 20 players to Libya on Sunday night.
Thé Hoima based side traveled for their Preliminary round first leg against Al Hilal Benghazi SC.
This came after Kitara was denied Namboole Stadium due to some renovations this taking the game to Benghazi on Friday 16th August.
The team traveled in the wee hours of Monday morning, boarding Egypt Air and will later have a stop over in Cairo, Egypt before reaching Benghazi, Libya.
The team was named by Brian Ssenyondo who is going to be assisted by David Bbale, Hamza Muwonge, Issa Serwanja and Sharon Aceng.
While the leader of delegation is Issa Magola who is accompanied by the club President Deo Kasozi and CEO Joshua Atugonza.
