Kisenyi, Park FC and Luzira maintain their unbeaten starts

Kisenyi Futsal Club, Park Futsal Club, and Futsal Club of Luzira continued their undefeated streaks in the 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League after matchday three concluded at Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday evening.

Kisenyi maintained their flawless record with a commanding 6-2 victory over rivals Lubaga Grameen. Abdihamid Dahir Ahmed netted a hat-trick, while Ismael Warsame scored twice.

Park showcased a stellar performance on Thursday, securing a five-star victory against Edgars Youth Programme. Abasi Muluya’s hat-trick, along with goals from Abura Michael and Shafik Mulangira, sealed the impressive win.

FC Luzira, propelled by Edmund Bithum’s four goals, triumphed over Kampala Junior Team Futsal Club (KJT FC) with an 8-2 scoreline. Vicente Abigaba (2), Musa Ssenonga, and Damien Nakalema also contributed to Luzira’s dominant display.

In addition to the unbeaten trio, other teams secured their first points and victories of the season. Kabowa Dream Team secured their maiden victory, defeating bottom-placed Kawempe FC 3-1. Mengo City and Kisugu FC notched their first points in a 1-all draw on Thursday.

At the end of matchday three, Kisenyi tops the table with nine points, sharing the lead with Park and Luzira, all trailing in goal difference compared to the Mengo-based side.

Matchday four is scheduled to resume on Thursday, 14th December, and conclude on Friday, 15th December 2023.
