Kawawa inspires Arua Hill to the 2020/21 FUFA Big League title


Arua Hill Sports Club is the King of the 2020/21 FUFA Big league.

This is after they won the main championship final 1-0 over Tooro United at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Tuesday.

Promising youngster Rashid Kawawa netted the all-important goal in 22nd minutes with a beautiful effort.

Arua Hill finished the regular season unbeaten to top the Elgon group while Tooro United were Rwenzori group winners.

Meanwhile, Jinja based Gaddafi FC completed the three clubs that were promoted to the Uganda Premier League for next season.

They defeated Proline 2-0 in the promotional final.

Gaddafi’s goals came from Frank Bulimi and Munguchi Steven.

Gaddafi, Tooro United and Arua Hill will play in next season’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League which is set to begin on 15th October.
