Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC have unveiled former Uganda Premier League top scorer Juma Balinya as their latest addition.
The attacking Midfielder was unveiled on Sunday evening during the club’s TV show on Sanyuka TV, after signing with the Kasasiro Boys on a two-year deal.
Balinya scored 19 goals during the 2018/19 StarTimes UPL season while playing for Police FC to clinch the golden boot.
In January this year, Balinya joined Kenyan giants Gor Mahia on a two-year deal but was give a go-ahead to leave the club after the K’Ogalo failed to meet their obligations.
He is expected to be a direct replacement for Mike Mutyaba who retired from soccer in July due to a heart problem.
Balinya becomes the eighth addition for the Lugogo based side after Samson Kigozi, Stefano Mazengo Loro, Brian Aheebwa, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani, Charles Lwanga, and Ashraf Mugume all joined the club in the recent weeks.
The club has also promoted youngster Dominic Ayella from their Junior team.
