Joseph Ochaya: the left back joins Egyptian side

After running down his contract at Dr Congo giants TP Mazembe, left back Joseph Ochaya joins Egyptian side Al Mokawloon Al Arab Sports Club alias Arab Contractors Football Club.

The former KCCA left wing-back joins the one time Egyptian Premier League winners side as a free agent.

He has played for different clubs in his time after he left KCCA FC like Zambia’s Lusaka Dynamos and TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo but before all the movement he had a spell in Ghana at Asante Kotoko FC.

In the National team colours, Ochaya has  featured for the Uganda Cranes on a number of occasions but the most notable ones being the team’s first qualification at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in 2017 (Gabon) in a number of years and the next in 2019, Egypt where he was the strong pillar of the team.

Ochaya joins another Ugandan player in Allan Kyambadde who holds Egyptian Premier League status.
