Ibrahim Kirya unveiled as BUL assistant coach

BUL FC have added Coach Ibrahim Kirya to their technical staff.

Kirya was unveiled to the BUL family on Wednesday going on to sign a two-year contract

With his work beginning with immediate effect, Kirya will work as one of head coach Abbey Kikomeko Bogere’s assistants alongside Simeon Masaba and James Magala.

“I am a born of this area and BUL is our home team, so, I have just comeback home to train my home team,” Ibrahim Kirya said

Adding that; “I am here to bring the glory days of Busoga back because since 1980, the region has not had a team win the league title.”

“Together with the head coach and other members of the technical team, we shall fight to see BUL win the league very soon if not next season.”

Having spent his previous season in 2023 Masaza Cup winners side Bulemeezi, Kirya has also helped SC Villa bring in some new players last season.

After being head coach for URA, Masavu, Lweza, Tooro United and Wakiso Giants, with his experience, Kirya will hope to help the 2021/22 Uganda Cup winners win their first ever Uganda Premier League title having come close in the previous season.
