Ugandan forward Abdu Lumala has been released by his club NK Slaven Belupo in Croatia.

Despite having an intention to restart his career it has not been all rosy for the electric winger after he left the country cursing the Ugandan league with regrets about why he had made a return on home soil.

Lumala joined the Croatian club in March, and played only four competitive games for the club after exiting Vipers SC.

Lumala has previously played in Sweden (Mjällby AIF, Kalmar FF, Varbergs BoIS, Helsingborgs IF, IFK Värnamo as well as  Syrianska FC) and Egypt with Pyramids Sports Club before making a return to mother country, Uganda where he has been capped six times for the senior national team, The Cranes.
