Gadaffi FC: Soldier Boys suspend entire technical team for one month

StarTimes FUFA Big League side Gadaffi FC have suspended their technical staff (Frank Ssebaggala and Michael Sebagala) for a period of one month with immediate effect.

This development was confirmed on Friday afternoon by the club in a press release signed by the board chairman, Lt Col Edrine Ochieng.

“Gaddafi football Club Jinja, has today sent the entire technical staff to one month leave with effect from today, the 02 APR 21,” part of the press release read.

The decision comes after the Jinja based club suffered a second consecutive league loss on Thursday evening being shocked to a 1-0 defeat by Mbale based side Kataka FC at the Mbale Municipal Stadium. They had earlier lost 2-0 to Maroons FC at home on Sunday.

Furthermore the board has appointed Hassan Zungu and William Kyeswa as the interim coaches.

“The Board of Directors have appointed Hussan Zungu as an interim head coach and William Kyeswato deputize him with immediate effect for the period.”

Zungu and Kyeswa’s first task will be a Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 first leg tie against Mbale Heroes at the Kabaka Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe.
