FWSL: Kawempe Muslim, UCU Lady Cardinals share spoils

Kawempe Muslim came from a goal down to draw away to UCU Lady Cardinals in Mukono on a Sunday afternoon.

This was the only game played this weekend in the FUFA Women Super League just to level the matches for each of the side in the campaign to four.

The game ended in a one all draw(1-1) to keep UCU’s unbeaten record up and running this season .

All the goals were scored in the second half of the game, Sharon Nadunga netting the first against for UCU and U17 captain Shakirah Nyinagahirwa scoring the second of the game to level matters for the Kawempe side.

This was UCU’s first draw of the season after winning their first three games, a run that got them maximum points before adding the one on Sunday.

On the other side, Kawempe have also played four games drawn twice, won and lost once pushing them to five points in four games.

On the log, UCU maintain their second place two points behind Kampala Queens while Kawempe Muslim move to sixth level on pionts with Makerere University Women but with a better goal difference of three(3).
