Futsal Uganda Cup draws: Park, Yeak Kabowa pitted in same group

The past two Futsal Super League Champions Park FC (2021/22) and Yeak Kabowa(2022/23) have been pitted in the group D ahead of the 2023 Futsal Uganda Cup.

This was confirmed on Friday morning after the group stages draws were conducted ahead of the competition kick-off on August 18th.

Al Haramen FC and Motion Sports FC are the other two teams that are in group D.

Group A has Luzira FC, Edgar’s Youth Program and Makerere University, while Kabowa Dream Team, ASKA, Friends of Football and First Touch Sports FC will make group B.

In group C, we shall witness a Mengo derby as Kisenyi FC have been pitted alongside Mengo FC, Gods Glory and Pitch Pirates FC.

Each team will play three games at the group stages to decide the two teams that will progress to the quarterfinals.

The four group winners and four runners-up will proceed to the knockout phase that culminates with the best-of-3 final.

All these games will be played at night to allow fans to enjoy beautiful game.

The winner of this competition will be awarded with a trophy and medals. He will also get a chance to play in the Futsal Super Cup against the 2023/24 FSL Champion.
