FUFA Big league: Mbale Heroes appoints Bobic Odowa’s successor

FUFA StarTimes Big league outfits Mbale Heroes have announced the appointment of Kheri Hassan Ali as the club’s new head coach to succeed Bobic Odowa who was releaved of his duties on Wednesday.

The development was confirmed during the unveiling ceremony at Mt. Elgon Hotel, Mbale on Thursday afternoon

Mbale Heroes terminated Odowa’s and his entire coaching staff contracts due to a poor run of results both in the FUFA Big League and Stanbic Uganda Cup.

They only managed one point in the three games so far played in the league and lost the first leg of the Stanbic Uganda Cup 1-0 to Gadaffi Football Club.

Kheri will be assisted by Robert Mayanja and David Kiwanuka as his first and second Assistants.

Kheri first assignment will be a Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 second leg tie with Gadaffi FC at the Mbale Municipal Stadium on Sunday.
