The Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has set dates for the last games of the 2021 Futsal Super League, confirming August 28th 2021 as the day the league will be concluded and mark the start of other competitions as well.

In a communication on the association’s website, published on Wednesday morning, FAU confirmed that all their pending futsal competitions will resume starting 28th August following a partial lift on lockdown on sports activities in the country.

The communication read;

“Following the partial lift of the Lockdown giving the green light to resumption of sporting competitions under specific guidelines, the pending 2021 Futsal Fixtures shall be played with no fans in the Arena and under strictly observed Covid19 Standard Operating Procedures.”

The Futsal Super League, which is at the final game week will kickstart all the other competitions on 28th August at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Big Talent and Park FC will face off in the final, while Synergy and Mengo City will fight for third place games.

A week after, the Futsal Uganda Cup will start with all eight teams involved in a Knockout phrases.

The Futsal Super Cup, which is played between the champions of the Futsal Super League and the Futsal Uganda Cup is scheduled for 11th September.

But before the Futsal Super Cup, under age futsal games will take place as curtain raisers with boys and girls’ games.
