COSAFA Women’s Championship: Provisional Crested Cranes squad named, George Lutalo named head coach

A provisional Crested Cranes squad has been summoned ahead of the COSAFA Women’s Championship in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

The squad consists of 32 players that include four goalkeepers, 9 defenders , 12 midfielders and 7 forwards.

Yudayah Nakayenze, Sandra Nabweteme, Laki Otandeka and Shiraz Natasha are the players summoned from teams outside Uganda.

The rest of the players ply their trade here in Uganda.

This squad will enter camp on 10th September 2021 ahead of the tournament slated for 28th September- 9th October 2021.

Goerge Lutalo has been named the new Crested Cranes head coach following the absense of Farida Bulega who has enrolled for the CAF B coaching course in Kenya.

Edward Kaziba will remain as the assistant coach while James Magala is the goalkeeping coach.
