Consumers Choose StarTimes as the best Pay TV Service provider in Uganda year 2021

StarTimes has won yet another award as the best Pay TV Service provider 2021 in the Consumer Choice awards 5th Edition, which was held on Wednesday evening at Golf Course Hotel. The Chief Guest who is the minister of Trade, HON Amelia Kyambade handed awards to 65 Companies that won last evening from different categories of Foods and beverages, Pay TV, Health, Education, Manufacturing, Electrical, Poultry, Agriculture, among others.

During her speech, The Minister of Trade and Cooperatives, Hon. Amelia Kyambadde noted that local content is very important under Buy Uganda, Build Uganda (BUBU) initiative where Ugandans consume locally produced content. Producer and consumer policy was put together to ensure that they not only protect the consumers but also protect small companies.

The CEO of Consumer Awards, Bari Salim appreciated the different companies for the innovations they came up with to ensure that they stay afloat in the new normal. “It is for this reason that we have gathered here to appreciate individuals and companies that manoeuvred through the wave of COVID 19,” he stated

“Your dedication to superior services through keeping consumer service delivery,” added Salim.
