Arnold Ssembuya: youngster promises fans good results next season


Police FC new signing Arnold Ssembuya has promised club fans  good results next season.

The youngster on Thursday evening at the Police offices in Kibuli was unveiled as the Cops latest addition after putting pen to paper on a 3-year deal to become the club’s seventh signing.

Speaking at the unveiling ,the midfielder cum winger who featured for Uganda People Defense Forces Football Club (UPDF FC) last season said he is delighted to join Police and promised the fans good results next season.

“I feel good joining Police FC because it’s one of the best teams in Uganda. I’m promising to work hard for the team to achieve the best.” Ssembuya said before adding.

“It’s just a matter of time as we wait for the league to resume, they will see good results.” He said.

The 2005 Uganda Premier league champions have so far acquired the services of Eric Ssenjobe, Hassan Mahmood, Sammon Oloka, Muwadda Mawejje, Tom Ikara and Tony Mawejje in preparation for the 2020-21 StarTimes UPL that is scheduled to commence in October.

The club has also renewed contract of Yusuf Ssozi, Johnson Odong, Mubarak Nsubuga, Edward Kiryowa, Musa Matovu, Denis Rukundo and Sentume Joseph.
