Annual Mileke Rugby Sevens Series cancelled

According to the Warriors RFC, the 3rd edition of the Mileke sevens Series that was set to be played at the Legends Rugby club has been cancelled.

The series were canceled because of unforseen circumstances as written in a statement on their twitter handle. This was prepared to be a two day circuit starting on 6th August 2022 with 16 teams taking part.

This is not the first tournament to be cancelled this year since both the annual Elgon Cup and Victoria Cup were also called off.

This postponement had affected some teams since a large number of their players were away with the national 7s sides that finished 10th in the ongoing Commonwealth games in Birmingham, England and later travel to Chile.
