Three more Bombers storm the semis of the Africa Boxing Elite Women and Men’s Championship on Wednesday in Yaoundé – Cameroon.
Ukasha Matovu, Emily Nakalema and Ssali Wasswa are the three who progressed to the semifinals after boxing Cheikh Diop of Sénégal, Peter Kate Isim of Nigeria and Burkina Faso ‘Naba’s Ousmane respectively.
These three join Ronald Okello progressed to the semis on Tuesday after winning by a spilt decision of 3:2 against Obama Mangue of Equatorial Guinea.
Therefore, three are to be in the Semis with some other three Bombers who are to start at this stage after receiving a bye at the draws.
The three are Erina Namutebi, Grace Nankinga and Geko Solomon. All these boxers are assured of at least $5000 but Incase they win, the will Al have a chance to grab silvers medals to scoop $10000 or even Gold that go for $15000.
